Video: First shots of Kerri Chandler’s holographic performers

Last week we got the scoop on Kerri Chandler’s plans to use holographic 3D performers in his DJ sets, with virtual projections of singers performing the exact tunes as the deep house supremo plays them.

Out of the many videos that appeared on the web following the launch of his holographic show at Santo’s House Party in NYC last week, this video is probably the best, although it’s still impossible to tell how realistic and ‘3D’ the holographics are from the video.

Regardless, Kerri Chandler’s mission to put the vocalists behind the house tracks right at the front and centre is an interesting direction.

If anyone was at Santo’s House Party, please let us all know how the 3D holographics turned out.
