Here’s a video interview with house DJ superstar Erick Morillo about his new mix compilation ‘Strictly Erick Morillo’.

In it, the Subliminal label boss talks about his early DJ career, philosophy on DJing, and his love for Strictly Rhythm records, all whilst sitting in James Bond attire.

For his double mix, Morillo was given the key to the vault of Strictly Rhythm records, and he dug really deep to showcase the label’s impressively rich, distinguished house catalog.

With house classics like South Street Player ‘(Who?) Keeps Changing Your Mind’, Reel To Reel ‘I Like To Move It’ and Barbara Tucker ‘Beautiful People’, the mix compilation plays more like a ‘Best of House Classics’ CD than a straight-up Morillo DJ set.
