Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus threw himself off a balcony in Los Angeles today for a “death defying stunt”, in order to celebrate his ‘Smoke The Monster Out’ album launch party which is happening at Avalon in Hollywood tomorrow night.

As this video shows, it’s unclear if Lazo survived. “If this doesn’t work, I just want to say it’s been fantastic hanging out with you doing all the stuff that we do together. If it doesn’t work I just want to say thank you for everything and just keep listening,” said Damian Lazarus before jumping off the ledge.

Just before the video stops you can see Lazarus plunging at considerable speed before disappearing over the edge. 

The party tomorrow night is supposed to feature Damian Lazarus playing live, alongside Nic Fanciulli, Matthew Dear, Philipp from M.A.N.D.Y., Luke Solomon and the Droog guys, although of course it might be canceled if Lazarus didn’t make it.
