[variance recordings] launched in the summer of 2007 with an aim to deliver the best new music from across the globe.

[variance recordings] has already seen releases from The Audio Soul Project, Tom Pooks, Perc, Harvey McKay, Jonas Kopp, Koljah and Gary Beck acheiving hype and solid reviews alongside numerous plays on BBC Radio 1. After a short break Variance is back with a hot new release from Darren Emerson & Jamie McHugh.  “Dark Matter” is a late night acid house adventure which will be backed with an outstanding remix package.  Expect further releases from Claude Von Stroke, Faceless, Glimpse & Gary Beck.  Variance is also backed with a radio show on Proton Radio which has previously featured Nic Fanciulli, Miss Jools, Adultnapper, DK7 and now boasts mixes from Darren Emerson and Faceless.  The quality of variances output is reflected in the caliber of DJs who have consistently shown their support: Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Josh Wink, Slam, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed and many more.
