It is easy to get lost in the sea of minimal tracks that have recently been invading dance floors and ipods worldwide, but Ilario Alicante’s ‘Vacaciones En Chile’ off the ‘Warm Vibes EP’ [Tenax] stands apart.

I played this track a month ago at Cielo (New York), and as shown in the video above, people were tickled by the modulated Spanish guitar sound which takes over about two minutes in.

Ever since that night, I have been hunted down for the ID.
