Who Made Who, those maniac Danish characters who like to dress up in the oddest outfits and do covers of Benny Benassi are back with a new album and super Hot Chip remix.

Hot Chip, as you may well have accurately noted, seem to have remixed literally everyone recently; they hear a track, they remix it, that’s how they roll.

But the great thing about them, without stating the bloody obvious, is that each one is totally individual from the other, with this one following suit.

Kicking off with some ‘80s sounding, electronically rendered snares and a compressed, digital, Technotronic bassline which is substituted for the funk driven b-line of the original, the track progresses into a dark, mystic pop track from yonder.

The deep, dark vocals are hypnotic and coercive in their ways to ‘stay awake with your TV friend’, and the whole visual imagery created by the combination of moody electronics and sinister vocals is one of a whole society dependent on a little black box, which isn’t too far from reality.

The video, involving three naked Danish guys, a lot of shoe polish and a bathroom, is also worth watching.
