Turbo Omnidance Pan American tour kicks off

Turbo takes off this spring to Omnidance, the land of the free and the home of the nu-Rave.

D.I.M. headlines with a live set of super-sized noize-bammers, while Turbo residents Matt Walsh and Thomas Von Party showcase the glory of the yet-to-be released Turbo catalog, with Tiga himself appearing at two of the Canadian dates to kick it up a vibe on his home turf.

Check Beatportal.com for ongoing coverage of their PanAmerican tour odyssey.

Thomas Von Party here reporting after the first night of Turbo’s ‘Omnidance’ Tour.

It all began for me with a five-hour drive in my Smart car to meet up with D.I.M. and Matt Walsh (complete with new haircut) in Beantown to play at Middlesex lounge.

It’s one of the smallest stops on our tour but has a great reputation as a preferred mid-week party in the tri-state Clam Chowder bowl that is New England.

We came.

We sold T-shirts.

We saw at least three girls with blue hair.

We ate amazing burgers.

We discovered D.I.M. wears a minimal-scarf and caught it on film to damage his reputation as the king of nu- rave.

Stay tuned to hear all about the tour in glorious and gruesome detail over the next 3 weeks.

Top 3 tracks of the night

Tiga & Zyntherius ‘Sunglasses at Night (Popof Remix 1)’ [Turbo Recordings]

Moby ‘I Like to Move in Here (Proxy Remix)’ [Turbo Recordings]

Justice ‘Stress (Auto Remix)’ [Ed Banger]
