Type Six Recordings proudly presents Trim The Fat - Go Hyper EP, a two track release jammed full of funkin great progressive house. Having reached No.4 on the Release Promo Chart This is easily some of the most accomplished work from Trim The Fat to date, the essence here being if it grooves me, it moves me. For everyone who has already taken the time to welcome our releases into their play-lists, you know what to expect…

‘Yer Go For It’ is funky, melodic and downright awesome. Strong beats, deep bass and a killer rolling synth are the backbone to the track while a cheeky vocal sample taken from microphone crosstalk adds an element of uplifting originality to proceedings. All in all this is a mix with some serious potential to be a hit on and off the dance floor.

‘Hyper Text’ incorporates a slightly tougher and more driving edge for its groove, while still managing to hold on to the Trim The Fat trademark use of melodic elements to capture the listeners attention.  Clever use of a vocal sample issues a clear indicator of an underground monster within our mists.
