Trickski feat. Ernesto: Good Time To Pray

A simple video works wonders, allowing the music to speak for itself. Such is the case for the latest video from Trickski, ”Good Time To Pray,” the second single taken from their ambitious full-length album, Unreality.

A strong, mid-tempo, vocal house cut with stark synth stabs and a hypnotic atmosphere of subtle melodies riding underneath the beats, “Good Time To Pray” is a fresh version of a classic vocal house idea—sultry, full of floor-ready groove, and dark enough to keep even the most underground DJs happy. The video, featuring a cast of assorted Berlin music faces and scenesters (including Till Von Sein, Johnjon, Chopstick, Master H, and Nils Penner) and a minimal array of sudden shapes keeps things simple with the assorted cast members lip-synching the vocals in their straightforward and slightly less than serious approach.

While the original version packs enough punch to result in a proper underground hit, the remixes featured on the release offer even more incentive for any music fan to smile. Axel Boman, Soul Minority and Tom Trago provide additional remixes, keeping things solid (and deep) from start to finish.
