Forget laptops - users of Sony PlayStation Portable can now make music on the go. TraxxPad is an application that brings the power of sequencers, drum machines and keyboards to the PSP, allowing anyone to create mix and sample tracks in the street, on a bus, or on the loo.

Undoubtedly for $40 US TraxxPad will not be an all-in-one professional music solution for producers, but initial reports have suggested that it is a useful tool for getting down ideas immediately whilst on-the-road.

It’s also probably a helluva lot of fun.

You can buy TraxxPad from Gamestore.com for $39.99.
