Track Of The Day: Roger Sanchez and Sidney Samson - Flashing Lights (Kid Massive Remix)

Though he’s been a key player in New York’s house scene for more than 20 years, DJ/producer Roger Sanchez might be busier now than ever before. His decade-old Stealth label constantly kicks out new tunes (like last week’s ”Next” from Bobby Burns), he recently starred in a little documentary about his summer spent in Ibiza, and, not surprisingly, he and Stealth have got takeover plans for Miami’s Winter Music Conference in March.

Well, you can check off another box on Sanchez’s to-do list, as today he offers up his newest collaboration with Dirty Dutch house producer Sidney Samson, the Beatport exclusive ”Flashing Lights (Kid Massive Remix).”

Taking no time to kick into high gear, the remix’s whip-cracking snare and initially subtle synth line eschew any slow builds, instead reaching their anthemic heights by going for the gut right off bat. Replete with all the hallmarks of an epic prog-house banger—euphoric keys, a wee bit of a rave siren, Sanchez’s own ”this is house music” proclamation—"Flashing Lights (Kid Massive Remix)” is sure to incite a good, hard fist-pump in Miami and beyond.
