Track Of The Day: Dirty South & Thomas Gold - Alive (Blinders Remix)

Dirty South‘s Phazing imprint dropped the original mix of ”Alive” in July of 2011, and its release resulted in Beatport chart domination. Fast-forward to January 2012 and we’ve got a fan remix EP with a proggy, electro, main-room floor-filler from Polish production duo Blinders that will easily replicate the originals success.

Kate Elsworth‘s vocals are still the staple of this “Alive” re-work, along with a beautifully sidechained synth-line that’s sure to demolish dance floors globally. It’s the perfect hybrid of that hands-in-the-air prog sound with a sprinking of electro crunch that we expect will dominate the charts and the festival circuit in 2012.
