The gentleman you see wearing a fancy Native American headdress is none other than Orlando Higginbottom, producer and performer behind the creatively named Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The young lady is none other than Luisa Lampshade from the Bristol vocal ensemble Lulu and the Lampshades. The two vocally complement each other perfectly in a concoction that comes close to the XX’s ‘Crystalised’ mixed with Liquid’s ‘Sweet Harmony’, mixed with a generous dose of Hot Chip
.
‘Garden’ appeared on TEED’s ‘All in Two Sixty Dancehalls’ EP back in May, accompanied by two spangled jack tracks and one nasty, dancehall-flavored breakbeat house number; this week, Jesse Rose gives the tune new life and a more straightforwardly house-oriented angle in two stellar remixes on his own Play It Down label.
