Derelict [Vandit Digital]
25 August, 2008 | 4.09PMDespite what MySpace may tell you, Derelict
is not only in fact a death metal band from Canada, but also a Polish trance producer called Michal D.
You may have heard his record ‘Voice of Hope’ being played by Paul van Dyk on either his radio show or his recently released ‘Cream Ibiza’ compilation.
It’s uplifting with a catchy melody and when played out emanates a happy vibe. It’s the type of track that makes you smile as you watch the clubbers around you enjoying the music.
It’s one of those records which is played when the night is coming to an end but you’re not done yet; when it’s over it leaves you feeling disappointed - you are (ahem) hoping for more.
