Top Track: Rekorder ‘Rekorder 00’

Oliver Hunteman and Stephan Bodzin are two of techno’s best producers, which makes their collaborations (under the guise Rekorder) something very special.

Since 2005 the duo have released 10 quirky tech house and techno EPs on their Rekorder label, and here on release no.11 Hunteman and Bodzin deliver a quality techno tune that features a simple, yet memorable rising synth chord that if dropped at the right time, can do serious damage on the floor.

I’ve been told that M.A.N.D.Y. dropped ‘Rekorder 00’ a few times during their recent North American tour, and it’s easy to hear why.

It’s definitely a dancefloor weapon.
