Top Track: Monika Kruse ‘Changes Of Perception (Marek Hemmann Remix)

We really dig Monika Kruse‘s style of techno, which is always driving and funky—her 2005 offering ‘Latin Lovers’ was well ahead of its time, albeit a little too thrashing for today’s tech house spinners.

Her recent collaborations with Gregor Tresher have been particularly well received, especially the scatty minimal cut ‘Brain Aqua’, which was featured on Tresher’s 2007 album ‘A Thousand Nights’.

Now her new single ‘Changes Of Perception’ has been remixed by German producer Marek Hemmann into a quality melodic techno cut, which features some excellent percussive sounds and a quirky arrangement.

It’s heads down percussive tech house, but the cute melody keeps it sounding friendly.

This is a great record if you looking for some dancefloor relief.
