If you love driving funky techno than look no further than Mastiksoul’s excellent nod-to-the-disco ‘Soul Train’.

Featured on Mastiksoul’s ‘Fix This 2008’ EP, the track is exactly the kind of peak time house that I love.

With vocal snippet loops, a throbbing heads-down bassline, and some wobbly tech house percussion, it does the job on the dancefloor and keeps the energy high throughout.

It’s not a standout track and has no obvious melodies or sounds, but it’s all the better for it.
