It’s clear from the kaleidoscope of people involved in their latest projects that Munk are not shy about inviting guests into their studio (Italian actress Asia Argento sings on this, and the forthcoming album ‘Cloudbuster’ also stars Matty Safer of The Rapture and German 70’s movie icon Klaus Lemke).

Deliciously in synch with the liberal artistic spirit of the Gomma artist family, the NME once aptly described Munk as the “German DFA”.

Firmly rooted in something resembling disco but also fusing techno, punk and electronica into their crazy sonic experimentations, Munk are making the music that is carrying disco, glamour and above all ‘FUN’ back to the future.

The Zero Cash & Maral Salmassi mix is the best interpretation of the original, teasing out the most addictive hooks, drum patterns and ideas and adding shed loads more fuel to the fire, to boot. 

Headman mix is also fantastic, setting off on a more restrained electro punk path but then getting periodically ambushed by those crazily addictive piano riffs.
