Once or twice a year in dance music, a nasty techno throbber gets dropped on the fiery dancefloors of Ibiza and later becomes an anthem around the world.

Audion’s 2006 smash ‘Mouth To Mouth’ is a prime example of how Ibiza’s club scene is used as a testing ground for future hits—the track was played at Space and DC10, before later blowing up around the world.

Now Len Faki’s ‘Death By House’ comes, a track that has been huge at Cocoon at Amnesia every Monday since the beginning of the season, and is destined to be a future global hit.

‘Death By House’ is nothing but high octane, dancefloor-destroying techno with mountain loads of white noise, and coupled with the lyrics from Jungle Brothers’ classic ‘I’ll House You’, the cut is destined to be one of this year’s biggest hits.

The drum patterns on ‘Death By House’ are booty shaking, whilst the bass is evil and dark.

Interestingly it is Len Faki behind the track, a producer who normally hides in the shadows of the underground.

For a track to blow up around the world, normally it requires a certain crossover appeal and ‘Death By House’ has just the right amount of recognised lyrics to make a big club impact but just the right sprinkling of underground feeling to keep the heads happy.

By September Len Faki’s ‘Death By House’ will be everywhere.
