Top Track: Guido Schneider, Andre Galuzzi ‘Albertino’
28 January, 2008 | 1.22PMLuciano’s Cadenza Records is always at the forefront of cutting edge techno and minimal, and this beauty sees underground German producers Andre Galuzzi and Guido Schneider
team up for a trippy minimal EP.
‘Albertino’ is a groovy wobbly minimal techno treat, featuring a driving bassline and off kilter synth hits and squeaks.
It sounds like a choir of mice squeeking their little voices whilst an angry dog eats them with big bites.
It’s fun, 2am music and has been caned by the big man himself in his DJ sets, as well as a number of other top techno jocks for the last few weeks.
‘Nora P’ is a deeper, more laid back affair and would fit nicely into deep house sets.
It kicks off after the breakdown with more urgency, which means DJs looking to build up a groove will dig it.
Overall, this is quality release from a label that can do no wrong.
