Top 100 Tracks of 2010: #70-51

We continue our coverage of the top 100 tracks of 2010; today we run through positions 70 through 51, and starting tomorrow, it’ll be all downhill to number one.

As we explained yesterday, these rankings are determined by the DJ charts that were submitted to Beatport this year. If there’s any surprise, it might be how throughly tech house seemed to dominate this year, with progressive and electro house playing second fiddle to the global tech-house juggernaut. There are patches of deep house here and there, and a smattering of techno, but—so far, at least—it looks like tech house über alles. Will the trend hold for chart positions 50 through #1? There’s only one way to find out: stay tuned, and check back all week long as we count our way down to the most-charted track of 2010.
