Detroit techno experimentalist Carl Craig recently uploaded a DJ chart to Beatport that showcases the more dancefloor orientated side to his work.

Featuring a number of standout tracks from his much-celebrated Planet E Communications label, Carl Craig’s Top 10 is full of forward-thinking techno grooves and deep electronic symposiums. 

Topping his chart is Glimpse’s haunting synth-led techno cut ‘Drifting’, which is quickly juxtaposed with the chunky deep house Chez N Trent mix of Naomi Daniel ‘Feel The Fire’.

It wouldn’t of course be a Carl Craig chart without Latin influences, and Ican’s glorious Latino vocal track ‘Pa’ Mi Gente’ features as does MadameX’s ‘You’re So Sweet’ on Vega Records.

Representing the minimal and tech house camps is Johnny D, Beat Pharmacy and Kink; and finally a stunningly blissful track from A Mountain of One closes his box.
