Tigersushi presents Yes Wizard

We can’t tell you much about the mysterious Yes Wizard, the latest signing to Paris’ Tigersushi label; according to his/her/their Facebook page, he/she/they hail(s) from Mata Atlantica and can currently be found in Ubatuba, Brazil. (We’re pretty sure that’s not true.)

”Elephant & Castle” is Yes Wizard’s first release; the title track is a freaky African-influenced house jam, like Konono No. 1 meets Trax; “Heaven Black” is a bleepy electro explosion somewhere between Danton Eeprom and Oni Ayhun. Duke Dumont, meanwhile, gives “Elephant & Castle” a swirly, psychedelic, tech-house-meets-electro-disco rerub.
