Thom Yorke remixed by Burial, Modeselektor and more

It’s been in the works since 2006, but remixes for Radiohead Thom Yorke’s solo album, ‘The Eraser’, will finally see the light of day.

Coming out beginning January 2008, XL Recordings [l] will release remixes by some of the most sought-after heads within the electronic scene, including but not limited to Burial, Four Tet, Modeselektor, Surgeon, Cristian Vogel and The Field.

The remixes of the album with an already heavy electronic edge will be released as three separate 12” packages.

The first release hits January 21st:

‘And It Rained All Night’ (Burial Remix)
‘Skip Divided’ (Modeselektor Remix)
‘Analyse’ (Various Remix)

On January 28th:

‘Atoms For Peace’ (Fourtet Remix)
‘Black Swan’ (Cristian Vogel Remix 1)
‘Black Swan’ (Cristian Vogel Remix 2)

And finally on February 4th:

‘Harrowdown Hill’ (The Bug Remix)
‘The Clock’ (Surgeon Remix)
‘Cymbal Rush’ (The Field Remix)

The digital status of the releases is still uncertain, but previews of some of the cuts were available on Yorke’s website for ‘The Eraser’ one year ago.
