Yep, that’s a big crack right in the middle of the laptop screen.

We saw this Grand Canyon monstrosity at a club in Ibiza, where the DJ was struggling to use Traktor Scratch (haha, it’s much more than a scratch, mate).

“Some fat girl sat on my laptop at an afterparty in Berlin,” said the DJ with a sad look on his face.

He speaks like a child has been kidnapped.

“That’s the problem with using a laptop to DJ with - people drop drinks on them or knock them off a table and they break so easily.”

Considering the hostile, forever-morphing environment of a club, laptops do seem a little fragile to be holding a big party together.

Some DJs cover their keyboards with the equivalent of condom, whilst others buy a hard plastic case which acts like a laptop exoskeleton, but it’s doubtful that there’s anything currently on the market that can withstand the weight of a fat girl.
