The Touch gain exposure with ‘The Touch EP’
30 April, 2008 | 1.04PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
The Touch and their ‘The Touch EP - Part One’ on Trunkfunk has been slowly gaining support that has seen it dent the Coolcuts Chart and garner BBC Radio 1 support from the likes of Annie Mac, Dave Pearce and Kissy Sell Out.
They have a varied following — thanks in part to the equally varied and eclectic mix package that features additional production supplied by DJ Assault, Pig & Dan, Trevor Loveys, Zombie Disco Squad, Patrick L, and several more.
As for the Touch, they’re already being called the Swedish Daft Punk, with the Original version of ‘Le Night Dominator’ echoing of their Gallic counterparts.
Everyone from Deep Dish to Mousse T are championing the Pig & Dan remix of ‘Heart Of The City’ and Trevor Loveys jackin’ remix of ‘Maximization Nation’ has been said to be “so funky it hurts!”
