This week, The Timewriter![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
releases his fifth album ‘Soulstickers’. And to coincide with the release, record label Plastic City![[l]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_l.gif)
has given Beatportal an audio interview with The Timewriter aka Jean F. Cochois.
As a resident DJ for Sven Väth’s Cocoon Club and a remixer for stars like Mike Oldfield, Faithless, Boy George and Yello, The Timewriter is a DJ and producer at the top of his game.
On ‘Soulstickers’, he blends deep tech house beats with soulful house melodies and much of his music has progressive tendencies.
It’s an incredibly emotional LP full of feeling and delicate sound structures.
Here in this revealing interview, he discusses his musical influences and thoughts behind his music and ‘Soulstickers’.
