Dave Sweeten is not only a peace lovin’ digital hippy, he is one to watch!

Or even better, to listen to!

Its tuff to keep up with who is who in the world of the underground sound. So many Djs, so many tunes, and so many genes!

If your lucky enough to find DAVE SWEEETEN, you will not want to let him go. No, you will wanna follow his sound and keep a close eye on Dave because he will suprize your ears!

For over a decade, Dave Sweeten has been a staple in the Utah underground scene and a major innovator of electronic dance music culture in Utah. He and his crew Jumpin Unlimited, produced a number of epic events throughout the 90s and into the millennium. As a member of the nationwide Fader Freekz DJ crew, Dave has performed in cities throughout the western U.S. and has thrown down alongside some of the most prolific names in the industry.

In 2005, Dave attended “The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences” in Tempe, AZ, where he studied audio engineering and production. He has certifications in large format recording consoles, recording and mixing procedure, live sound, ProTools, Logic, Reason, and other audio sequencing software and instrument/effect plug-ins.

Dave strives to assist in the growing world-wide phenomenon of taking DJing to the next level using performance hardware and software, midi controllers, drum machines, synthesizers, effects processors, multi-media sequencing, and everything else the future holds in store. For the 6th year in a row, he will also be assisting in the planning and production of theme camp ‘Project Euphoria’ at the annual Burning Man festival.

Dave currently resides in Los Angeles where he spends his time rockin the local underground scene, producing original music and perfecting his DJ, performance, and audio engineering skills. He also has forthcoming digital releases on LA based label, Digitizm Records, and devotes time assisting with the promotion and development of the national DreemWorld collective (see link below).

At the age of 28, Dave Sweeten aspires to reach new heights and travel to new places with music. With the talent, determination, and outgoing personality that he has, it is inevitable.

Dave is a dream producer for LEFTHOUSE RECORDINGS. and in the journey of you following the SWEETEN SOUND, i bet the name LEFTHOUSE will be right beside it from time to time!
