Disco Sucks? It would appear not!

What with the whole of London and New York seemingly going Balearic, psychedelic, cowboy disco crazy club kids are starting to throw their hands in the air — not to sirens and break beats, but to guitar twangs and bongo bangs.

OK, so Todd Terje isn’t from either London nor is he from New York, nor would have ever get on down with his bad self at Studio 54!

He is, in fact, one of the Oslo based Skando disco wizards, the others being Mesrs Prins Thomas and Lindstrom.

Whilst this original from Kaoru Inoue is a shimmering Balearic nugget itself, there is no doubt that it’s the Terje Remix that will make you keep on jumpin’.

Terje , a self confessed disco junkie, provides the original with all the space disco prerequisites, and thus the track morphs and shifts from a percussive bongo spazz out to a full fledged bassline-driven space jam of the highest order.

Saddle up and mosey on down to the disco, because the sun is setting and there may well still be time for one last trip this year.
