In an effort to kick-start LovEvolution weekend in San Francisco it has become a tradition for listed Productions and Lee Burridge to get the party started right. The past four years offered the memorable Love Lee parties and last year’s Get Weird event. This year is no different, but in an effort to up the ante, listed will play host to one of the most sought-after DJ duos for their first time in the States in almost ten years. Wildly known as the one of the first residents of London’s influential nightclub Fabric and praised for having all four ears locked on the underground, listed Productions is pleased to announce the reemergence of Tyrant duo featuring Lee Burridge and Craig Richards.

Tyrant was born under the roof of Fabric in London, a seminal nightclub boosting a state of the art custom made sound system, multiple rooms, all offering a different take on the underground dance sound, and a sense of inclusion. Returning from a stint in the Far East in the late 1990’s, Burridge’s experience and taste was a stark contrast to that of Richards’, a then and current resident at Fabric. It wasn’t long before the two began feeding off each other, sharing experiences and records, and began playing sets together under the moniker Tyrant. The combination of their individual sounds spurred one of the first residencies at the club, providing them with a constant blank canvas on which to weave a tapestry of house, techno and break beats, melding these different sounds into an unmistakable unique musical journey. In an effort to blur the genre lines and celebrate the best that dance music has to offer, the pairing of Richards and Burridge is an organic artistic reaction to the state of the underground, past, present and future.

listed Productions is very excited to play host to this dynamic duo. Not content to just provide world-renowned talent, listed has gone above and beyond by seeking out a venue that hasn’t played host to an event like this in quite some time, Club 525.  Beyond that, listed will be outfitting the club with a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting installations provided by Radiant Atmospheres and dressing the venue with décor that will have to be seen to believe. This is all in an effort to create an atmosphere and vibe that will carry those in attendance all the way through the weekend.
