The hype is building around The Prodigy’s new LP ‘Invaders Must Die’, penciled for a March 2009 release - their December UK tour sold out in just one hour.

With all the original band members back together again in the studio, many are expecting their new album to be a return to the glory of their past, which included 16 million album sales and the title of ‘most successful dance band of all time’.

Tickets were always going to go fast for their December UK tour, but one hour is astonishing for a band that really has done anything too exciting since 1997.

The band will do a bigger tour in April 2009, and with Dizzie Rascal on warm up duty for all the dates you can bet a similar ticket rush.

Clearly there’s still a lot of fans of The Prodigy out there, so fingers crossed ‘Invaders Must Die’ lives up to the hype.
