The most epic Grammy performance ever

Daft Punk surely wowed viewers with their fancy Lemur-based setup at this year’s Grammy Awards, but in my opinion nothing will ever top what goes on in this video.
There’s actually a bit of a debate as to whether or not they are even playing the synths here, and i’m willing to bet that they aren’t as Thomas Dolby spoils it with his flagrant use of the strap-on TB-303 looking device.
And then Herbie Hancock starts acting weird over his vocoder section.
It makes you wonder if Daft Punk was actually playing anything during their performance this year.
Besides, it’s much easier just to show off your gear and hit a few buttons than it is to risk a malfunction at one of the largest televised events in music for the year(is the Superbowl half-time show bigger?).
Unfortunately it appears as if all the videos from this year’s Grammy performance have been removed from Youtube, but this classic from 1985 will live on forever.
