Some call watching it a spiritual experience, while others are moved to tears. No matter what, everybody agrees that enjoying the video for Prey by The Love Theme is a great way to spend Sunday morning.

In a style similar to Kruder & Dorfmeister and some early material on Detroit’s K7 Records, “Prey” comes off the second EP by The Love Theme, simply titled Two.

“The concept of the video appears simple,” says Andy Smith of Permanent Damage Records. “But with the play on the words ‘pray’ and ‘prey’, questions about religion, spirituality and faith are raised.”

Previously, work by The Love Theme, whose videos have seen over 400,000 views on Youtube, has been remixed by the likes of Alexis K, Cottonmouth, Jonah K, and Thundercakes.
