The curious girls of Ibiza
29 June, 2008 | 8.59AM- Section: Music News
Ibiza has been called “Fertility Island” and we’ve certainly noticed an abundance of sexual freedom on our travels.
But things aren’t always what they seem here…
A lot of gays, lesbians and transvestites party in Ibiza
There is a massive sexual ambiguity on the island, especially in club nights at venues like Space, where some of the “female” dancers are actually men with breast implants.

Ibiza is obviously a place where many had their first sexual experiences, for better or worse.
But it’s good that this ambiguity exists, because after a while it becomes the norm, destroying taboos that typically prevent people from having a good night out.
Ibiza is all about the music, and nobody cares how you look.
This gives people a chance to express themselves in wild ways.
The only rules: come as you are, and enjoy yourself.

The madly infectious minimal track playing in the background was also dropped by Polish DJ Magda at Cocoon the other day.
Anyone know what it is?
