The Chemical Brothers beat Justice at Grammys
11 February, 2008 | 11.05AM- Section: Music News Topics: Beatport Blog
Despite Justice being up for two awards at the 50th Grammys, they went home empty handed.
Britain’s the Chemical Brothers beat the French duo in the category for Best Electronic/Dance Album with their album ‘We Are The Night’.
Whilst annoying pop/urban dancer Justin Timberlake won Best Dance Recording with his hideous track ‘Love Stoned/Think She Knows’.
Excuse me, but how can anyone with a basic understanding of dance music claim that Timberlake’s ‘Love Stoned/Think She Knows’ is better than Justice’s ‘D.A.N.C.E.’?
Other dance news from the Grammys: Benny Benassi won Best Remixed Recording with his reinterpretation of Public Enemy’s ‘Bring The Noise’.
And Brit super producer Mark Ronson was named Producer of the Year.
