Beatport receives thousands of DJ charts a month from some of the world’s most respected DJs, and when you collate all that data, patterns begin to emerge.

From the top 50 most charted tracks of August 2009 for instance, we can tell you that Static Revenger and Richard Vission’s ‘I Like That’ will soon be a major summer smash. As the most charted track of the month, and with Luciana’s vocals (her track record includes topping pop charts the world over with Bodyrox ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ in 2006), it’s clear this one will go all the way.

The same can be said of Fedde Le Grand and Mitch Crown’s new track ‘Let Me Be Real’ - DJs are charting the Hook N Sling vs. Goodwill remix like crazy - and the vocals stink of end of the summer vibes.

Harder techno could also be making a comeback as Industrialyzer & The Advent’s new cut on Remain ‘Kudos’ is getting major plays from club DJs worldwide. Deeper techno is still dominating it seems as Regis and Function’s remix of Ben Klock’s ‘Subzero’ made it into the top 10 most charted tracks, as did anonymous techno crew WAX, and Joris Voorn. Underground techno Argentinean Jonas Kopp is also just short of the Top 10.

Drum & bass hero Sub Focus’ ode to Daft Punk ‘Rock It’ was the most popular d&b cut amongst DJs this past month too.
