Thailand gets its ‘first international dance festival’
4 December, 2007 | 12.07PM- Section: Music News Topics: Beatport Blog
Ibiza club Amnesia and British club brand Godskitchen have teamed up with local promoters in Thailand to launch the country’s “first ever international dance music festival.”
Culture One in Bangkok will take place on Saturday 19th January in a helicopter port, and will feature four arenas with top DJ talent and bands.
Of course it isn’t the country’s first international dance music festival - full moon parties have been happening on Koh Phangan for over a decade - but it is one of Thailand’s first official, mainstream electronic music festivals.
David Morales [listen to his tracks in the player after the jump], Stanton Warriors, Marco V, Filthy Dukes, John ‘00’ Fleming and AJ Gibson are headlining the event.
Tickets to Culture One cost 650 BHT.
