4 April, 2007 | 12.00PMThe drums on ‘Chatterbox’ are excellent, especially the intermittent shakers which give it real rhythm. This would be straight up deep house was it not for the clever little electronic twists that sit nicely behind the pads.
This is music for the beginning of the night, because of its wicked well-rounded groove that keeps the energy bubbling through the track.
‘Mindgames’ is deep techno, with snippets of vocals and old skool samples punctuating a simple groove without an obvious break.
‘Outback’ is straight up tech house, but has a distinctly soulful vibe.
