Suckers Hit The Dancefloor
Per QX [Play Digital]

When a record label called Play Digital combines with a track named ‘Suckers Hit The Dancefloor’, you can almost second guess the veritable circus ride of sonics inside.
Beat-wise, you’re looking at a tight 4/4 loop containing only the choicest of syncopated shuffle effects that are designed to get that ass a-shakin’.
They’re compressed so damn well that they hit you in all the right places.
Before we go any further, it has to be said that ‘Suckers Hit The Dancefloor’ is almost shamefully similar to Tiga’s ‘Washing Up’ classic.
Why? Well, its lead bassline is of the same tonal quality, and it plays out in a looped, gated fashion à la ‘Washing Up’.
Also, a double shuffle “click clack” sound, almost identical to that in Tiga’s anthem, runs through the mix.
However, ‘Suckers Hit The Dancefloor’ is no direct clone of ‘Washing Up’.
It’s just the product of a top London DJ / producer being inspired by one of dance music’s greats.
When Per QX throws his ‘Suckers Hit The Dancefloor!’ vocal into the proceedings, it’s all over really – expect the crowd to go nuts.
