‘Submerged’ has been remixed by Teebee & Calyx for Subtitles 60, and by-fuck have they created a monster.

Its drums will smash your skull; the synthesis arrangements are predictably impossible for rival producers to imitate and the implementation of a quality “urgh” vocal really sums up how this duo feel about making music.

Can you say “passion”?

Every element is the product of quality control and, as such, even though there aren’t a huge amount of sounds running at the same time, the mix sounds incredibly full and busy.

How this duo comes up with these effects is a mystery, but we hope they keep on doing it for a long time.

The Break Remix of ‘The Quest’ is a drifting, atmospheric journey through a dark sci-fi metropolis.

The drums are flickery and switch up regularly – they don’t rape you, rather seduce you in their approach – but the other elements are a lot more serrated.

You can expect a mind-boggling array of distorted, morphing synths and samples, adding up to a cerebral, addictive experience that you can trust in the mix every time.
