Stunning a Crowd - A how to Guide by Demi

Stunning a Crowd - A how to Guide by Demi

Every DJ dreams of the glory of playing in front of thousands of screaming fans, but rarely do they understand the importance of stunning a crowd visually as well, and by visually I do not mean insane light shows and DVJ graphics.

There are very few DJs who understand the art of the sexy look, and indeed, it is an art.

Understanding reactionary psychology, behavioral patterns and peoples response to your looks is just as important as track selection and mixing skills , “Its Entertainment baby”.

DJ, producer and member of the famed S.O.S trio, Demi [a], has been stunning crowds with his awesome attire and crazy hair for years. His constant smile and funky energy inspires his crowds and create a positive heart warming vibe.

I asked Demi to share his knowledge and tips on this highly debated subject, a skill set that he has picked up through years of experience.

Here are his pointers:

1. Dress for the season.

You want to stun, not shun the crowd’s mate. Every season has its attire and showing up to igloo fest in a neon tights, although brave, would not only result in a trip to the hospital, but your private parts would not appreciate the cold either; nor will the crowd.

2. Don’t shy away from prints.

Diane von Fuerstenberg is famed for using prints, and so is my leopard print shirt. Prints are strong and catchy as long as you follow the next rule.

3. Less is More

You cant mix 3 different prints and jewelry and watches and sunglasses. Keep it simple, your already making a statement and doing more will most defiantly cause you to just make a fool out of yourself

4. Connect with people

Lastly, its all about connecting with your crowd and the party. You dress up to make people smile, and make sure everyone is having a good time.

Follow these simple rules and watch how everyone you pass by will have a smile on their face, because they know this is a party where they can have fun and be silly and simply enjoy themselves.
