Still Going are New York veterans Olivier Spencer and Rub ‘N’ Tug’s Eric Duncan.

Together, they’ve created one of the standout tracks of 2007 in ‘Still Going Theme’, and in the process brought back to life the much loved piano house sound.

The hype has been building with some aplomb ever since it appeared on Lindstrom and Prins Thomas’ Essential Mix back in May, but with an inclusion on the latest installment of the ‘Fabric Live’ series and now receiving its full release on DFA Records, it’s sure to go interstellar.

The simplicity of ‘Still Going Theme’ is a thing of beauty in a world of overproduction, non fussy beats, skin prickling bleeps and a deep bassline lay the foundations while a warm cloud of atmospherics provides the proverbial glue.

The centre piece piano line, lifted straight out of the Hacienda, is sure to bring a smile to anyone who hears this Balearic epic.

‘On and On’ continues in much the same vane but swirly synths step it up a notch, giving it a slightly more urgent and progressive feel.

The ivory tinkling is still ever present, this time in a more hypnotic form which makes this a set builder with some class.
