Steven Lee’s production debut sans Cabrera - ‘Exit Row’ out now on CR2

Steven Lee of Lee-Cabrera fame steps out into the spotlight alongside NYC homeboy Gaby Dershin for his first single with Albert Cabrera. Steven comes to the table with a tougher electronic sound, showing his new musical direction.

Steven Lee is far from an unknown NYC kid from around the way. He is one half of the massive Lee-Cabrera tag team who’s hit “Shake It” proved to be one of the biggest dance records of 2003. Steven Lee’s recent remix work includes remixes for Pete Heller, Kurd Maverick and Roger Sanchez. 5 years on from Shake it, Steven is back at the production reins this time without Cabrera, finding his own creative ear and ready to take things into 5th gear.  For his first production without Cabrera, Lee has teamed up with Bit Crusher’s collaborator Gaby Dershin and the outcome is ‘Exit Row’.
‘Exit Row’ had it’s debut on the first Cr2 Live & Direct Miami compilation, released on March 10th 08’.

Remixed by Italian young guns Pirupa & Ruggero, the remix brings a tough electronic edge to the table. Both boys have held many prestigious residencies in Italy and played alongside all the major players. They’ve released records on Rebirth and TKC music to name but a few.  Pirupa was even named one of Tom Stephan’s favourite DJ’s on his Kiss 100 show in 2007. Definitely stick them on your ‘One’s To Watch’ list!

OUT NOW ON CR2!
