lets loose the first single from his fourth artist album, which will surely whet more than a few appetites.
Having recently celebrated 100 releases and 10 years in the business, Poker Flat seems unstoppable and this release is a fine example of the kind of quality deep techno and house the label touts.
A-side ‘Month Of Sip’ sees Mr. Bug team up with Berlin club staple Clé on production for a heavy but enchanting tech house groover. Minor warped synths and a smidgen of vocals blend together to create a moody dark dancefloor trip.
Flip side ‘Trees Can’t Dance’ brings more energy with a synth-laden peak time cut that builds slowly but surely - this one’s ideal for getting the crowd back in the game after a small foray into self-reflection on whether it might be time to go home.
No, not yet. Not just yet!
