This is your chance to remix one of the biggest house producers in the world! Steve Angelo and Benchmarc Recordings have teamed up with Beatportal to find one talented producer to remix Steve’s house hit ‘Sansation’ that was released on Distraekt Records in 2004 (listen to it in the player below).

You have until July 31st to download the remix parts to ‘Sansation’ and redo the track into your chosen style.

The winning remix will feature on a full release alongside remixes from the Benchmarc roster including Zimbardo, which means your remix could soon be for sale on Beatport!

Competition Rules

1. Download the remix parts to ‘Sansation’ from Beatport.

2. Remix the track into your chosen style, making good use of the original parts.

3. Send your remix as a 320kbps MP3 to info@benchmarcrecords.com before August 7th 2007. You might find it easier to send your remix via an online tool such as YouSendIt.com

4.Benchmarc Records will judge all the entries and choose a winner, based on production quality, as well as arrangement, and the use of the original parts. The winner will be announced on Beatportal, and shortly after the winning remix will be featured as part of a full release.

It will also be included in Benchmarc’s promotion to their exclusive list of top DJs, magazines and radio shows. The winner will also be interviewed about their remix on Beatportal.
