Stephan Panev releases “Langer Tanz”.

Stephan Panev [a] just released his newest EP ‘Langer Tanz’ for his label Hole.

“I wanted to make a simple dance record for jumping!” says Stephan.

Also he announces that a second album is on the way. More info after the bounce…

The EP includes three brand new tracks and they are here exclusively for Beatport.

In ‘Langer Tanz’ you will find three thracks from tech house to techno called ‘Langer Tanz’, ‘Go Get The Bong’ & ‘Dora’.

The first one is more of the dark side and with an old school synth while the second one is the transition from tech house to techno so we can get to the last record on the EP - ‘Dora’ where we can find nothing but a modern sound.

Also Stephan Panev announced an album due to be released February 2008. Not even an year from the last album - ‘Elephants’ which became one of the most successful Bulgarian electronic albums - Stephan Panev is now ready to give us some new and different material.

“I am working on an eclectic record this time and I have invited some live musicians to record some guitars and drums for the album”

The planned album will be called ‘Rotor’ and it will include 14 new and still unreleased tracks.

Hopefully until the end of the year we will get a single from that record. Even with live instruments and different, more experimental sound we will still get a dance record.

“I don’t wanna make punk or rock, not at the moment! [laughs] It is still going to be a straight to the dance floor record but a little bit different from what is released nowadays under the techno genre!”

So now we just have to wait for that record to show up in the beginning of 2009.
