returns with BSOD
on the fast rising ‘Ooh La La!’
D-Dub Music releasing this seriously funky electro house offering, featuring the mixing and production finesse of the men of the moment BSOD, whose members Deadmau5 and Steve Duda have had an enviable year with a slew of clubland hits including ‘Not Exactly’ and ‘A Bit Sketchy’ and acclaimed remixes too.
While Static Revenger is no slouch either, he too has been one of the most prolific names in dance music for the better part of a decade with artist credits on top sellers for everyone from Madonna to the Weekend Players, while as a DJ, he’s shared the decks with Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold and the Crystal Method.
It’s a busy time for the LA-based producer, also with the release of his recent Essential New Tune ‘Everything Is Beautiful’ — Pete Tong exclaiming that he expects “big things” from this track.
One of the hottest records in clubland, and a must-have on many DJs shopping list.
For now, the original mixes of the Taj Bell-sung number are available via Beatport, but with Data winning the race to sign it, it’s about to go global with upcoming remixes rumoured to include Solitaire and Richard Vission workouts.
A future anthem we’re predicting, and easily as big has previous dancefloor smash ‘Happy People’.
