Stars showcase Ableton at Ministry of Sound
27 November, 2008 | 7.30AMNext Saturday, 6th December will see music software developer Ableton take over the Baby Box at London’s Ministry of Sound for a special one-off event in association with Novation.
In a move that’s sure to please Ableton enthusiasts, headliner Omid 16b (check his beats in the player), Mindlobster and Olly B-sides will all be performing using Live 7 and a selection of Novation MIDI controllers with their sets being projected on to a giant video screen in real time.
Those hoping to pick up some invaluable insight into how these established artists use the software can either order advanced tickets or have a bash at entering the competition to win free entrance via the Ableton page on the Novation website from 5pm GMT today (27th November).
The first 15 people who register after this time will be inline for the prize so be quick.
Mark Knight
, John Dahlback
, Martijn Ten Velden and Tom Neville
will also be appearing on the night in addition to a special guest in the Ableton room who is TBA.
In other Ableton news, the company has announced a holiday special deal, and anyone who purchases Live 7, Live 7 LE or Ableton Suite before December 31st can save up to 25% off the normal price.
