Spoon, Harris and Obernik team up in ‘Baditude’

The trio of Spoon, Harris & Obernik already had more than enough respective club credibility to their names before teaming up for what quickly became one of Pete Tong’s Essential New Tunes in ‘Baditude’.

Collectively, Dave Spoon, Paul Harris and vocalist Sam Obernik look like giving Toolroom the sort of track that ‘With Every Heartbeat’ was for Robyn’s career.

Massive!

The one thing you can say about Sam Obernik (the voice behind s ‘It Just Won’t Do’ a few years back with Tim Deluxe and the brilliant Barefoot, the eclectic dance covers act) is that the stunningly beautiful chanteuse defies pigeonholing – one minute cooing to jazz-smoked standards, the next, in this instance, punking it up over an electro backbeat.

Dance music with tonnes of personality.
