Amex [RealMusic Recordings]
25 August, 2007 | 4.33PMThis latest trancer from Amex
is out on digital label RealMusic Recordings
and has all the right flavors to excite most trance DJs.
Beautiful melodies and effects make for a good listen as its steady well placed arrangement keeps you feet satisfied.
The track’s vibe has a fairly laid-back feel overall as the mix never sounds over complicated or too full.
However this does not hinder the beats one bit as the music is more focused on the blissed out melodies and driving progressive bassline.
The contented melodic fills are scattered over the introduction and work perfectly before the emotional riff is introduced.
After a well-crafted start to this ambient breakdown the main lead melodies tap out a few simple notes with incredible atmosphere.
Sometimes just working on the sound of lead parts can be more effective way to build tension and that’s exactly what Amex has done.
Amex uses longer reverbs and rippling delays to fill in the gaps of his more minimal production.
Although there is nothing that original or ground breaking here, ‘Spirals’ delivers a nice journey from progressive into trance.
This is a great set filler that will have the punters spiraling out of control.
